What the terms say…
"Standard insurance" means the vehicle you hire is insured for damage to the vehicle and to the property of a Third Party.
» "Excess" means the dollar amount the driver is liable for in the event of vehicle, other vehicle or property damage.
» "Age" refers to the age of the youngest person who will be driving the rental vehicle. It is determined at the start of your hire period.
» "Single Vehicle Accident" means damage to the vehicle caused by the hirer or any other registered driver or any damage caused by an unknown third party.
What the CDW options say…
» Standard insurance excess is included for free as part of your car rental fee.
» The excess can be reduced by purchasing one of our CDW options as detailed below.
» Standard and Chance It liability reduction covers any and all damage to third party property and damage to the rented vehicle.
» Stress Free liability reduction covers any and all damage to third party property and damage to the rented vehicle including windows and tyres.
We have two options to reduce the excess you are liable for. This is in addition to the daily rate and it is non-refundable.
Purchasing one of these options will reduce the amount you have to pay and is on a per incident basis. If an accident occurs a new insurance option will be required for the remaining days of your hire which means you must report any incident to AllWays Car Rental as soon as it happens.
For example, if the youngest driver is 21 years old, and insurance option 3 is chosen:
10 days hire x $15 per day = $150 for full cover
Accident occurs on day 5, to be eligible for CDW insurance for the remainder of the hire period another 5 days is payable.
